Affiliated Blind of Louisiana would like to recognize Jacob and Bernice, our latest ABL graduates, Congratulations! We are so proud of the of you!

Graduation at ABL

Graduation at ABL is a wonderful experience. Clients get to enjoy a ceremony just for them given in the Great Hall in front of friends, family, and staff. Everyone is encouraged to speak up and tell stories about the graduate, and the atmosphere is always happy and sometimes a bit festive.

When everyone is finished 'roasting' the graduate, it is their turn! The graduate is allowed to speak, sing, play a musical instrument, or do whatever they would like to do to express their feelings.

After all the stories, diplomas are presented, then closing comments and refreshments are served. It is a happy occasion had by all!
